About the expert

As the director for Symantec's small business and distribution segment in UK and Ireland, Ross's role reflects a renewed focus from Symantec on the small business sector. As part of a substantial team of dedicated small business resources across EMEA, his priority is to improve the partner experience in the UK and Ireland.

Ross joined Symantec in 2005 through the Brightmail acquisition, where he was the channel director for northern Europe. Before Symantec, Ross held a range of commercial roles in the IT industry such as sales manager for a Cisco gold partner in London for four years. Previous to that he worked in a number of senior account management roles in the IT industry in Scotland.

Away from work, Ross enjoys spending time with his young family and socialising.
