axon IT works at the highest level of expertise to provide fully tailored IT and telephony systems whatever your requirements. Specialist areas include IT support, virtualisation, cloud computing, telecoms, disaster recovery, anti-virus and spam filtering solutions, and secure data back-up.
Graham first took an interest in technology as a schoolboy, completing his O-Level in computing in 1982 working on mainframe systems. In 1986, he joined the RAF where he spent 14 years travelling the world handling technical military hardware and software, and working on highly advanced computer-driven simulators. He also saw the introduction of GPS into RAF aircraft in 1991.
After leaving the military in 2000, Graham went on to work as IT manager for a national IT company with responsibility for the Manchester area. One year later, he founded axon IT along with business partner Mike Agutter, a limited budget and zero investment. Within just a few months the company had won major accounts including Tarmac and British Gypsum, and in the nine years since, the business has grown successfully to boast a turnover of more than £800,000 and 14 employees.
