Why we collect it

We collect information about you so that we can personalise your use of the website. There are many different versions of the IT Donut and we are able to show you a version that is most appropriate for you; for example, a version that includes the news and information of an organisation that you are a member of..

We also collect aggregated information about every single link and page on the IT Donut website, so we can measure the website's performance. This allows us to create more of the pages that users like and to remove unused content. It also allows Atom to attract sponsorship for each section of the IT Donut website.

If you sign up to the newsletter, you will, at a later date, be able to request additional content on particular topics. (This preference functionality will increase over time, as Atom provides a wider and deeper set of content to choose from.)
