An impressive line-up of speakers, one-to-one business advice, practical workshops and seminars are on offer at the Business Startup show at Excel in London on 19 and 20 May.
Aimed at both start-ups and small but expanding businesses, the free show will also feature speed-networking sessions and more than 200 exhibitors offering useful business products and services.
The event, sponsored by Sage and Lloyds TSB, has grown over 11 years to become one of the biggest small business shows in the UK. This year’s line-up of 70-plus speakers will include small-business minister Mark Prisk and noted entrepreneurs such as Nikki Hesford (Miss FitUK) and Lara Morgan talking about the realities of running a small business.
Ticket-holders can also book one-to-one advice sessions on any of 14 different areas of business – including online marketing, law and raising finance – and attend free practical workshops run by the likes of Salesforce, Yell and the UK Intellectual Property Office. Ecademy will also be launching The Boardroom, its peer-to-peer mentoring initiative at the show.
The organisers have provided a planning checklist to help visitors get the most out of their day. Tickets should be booked in advance via the website. All ticket-holders will receive a 125-page guide to the show.
